Friday Job, part the tenth

I guess what I was happiest about in reading Civil War #2 was that Spider-Man showed up in his actual costume instead of that fuck-ugly new thing they put him in after The Other.

God is in the details, chillun.

(Also, the Patriot chase scene was pretty awesome, despite his jump from building to building being torn straight from the first Ultimates series. I'm pretty sure I like Steve McNiven's artwork even more than Brian Hitch's, honestly.

I wonder what he'll be on next?

When Marvel sent the PR out to Yahoo, NYT, etc do you think anyone would run it if the image of spidey was in the new costume?

Just goes to show how temporary the costume change is - it's something for the fans reading now, not the one's who might read in the future.

    Ah, a fine point.

I'm just glad he's out of the goddamned thing. I hope he stays that way. It's ugly as sin.

And, in the first place, it's not like Spidey was visually "broken", certainly not after the first two movies.
